Now Playing: "Too Cold" by Vanilla Ice
Topic: Hmmm...
Okay, it's too freaking cold out today - - my lips are chapped as ALWAYS this time of year, and they actually hurt when I'm outside. Heading home from a friend's place earlier, I caught a glimpse of a temperature reading on a bank's sign - - 0 degrees - - WOW! It's actually WARMER than it was during the day at being -5 degrees!
Anyways, just pondering if anyone else ever comes across this - - you're in your car getting ready to emerge with whatever bags/purse/coat or items to take into your home. You get out of your car, all ready to go to the front door of your house, and you realize something - - you look back at your car, and the dome light is still on! You don't know whether you flicked the switch to turn the dome light on when gathering all your accessories to take inside, or if it's just still on, and will be shutting itself off soon. You're not sure if you remember turning the dome light on yourself, or if you're just remembering the last time you were in your car and you turned the dome light on. Do you want to risk going all the way back to the car, even though you have all your accessories in your arms ready to be taken inside, house keys in hand ready to unlock your front door of your warm cozy home? Sure, you could just forget it and go inside, and then HOPE that you remember to check back once inside to see if the light is still on, but will you really remember to do that when you can't even remember if you turned the dome light on just moments ago? Who's to say that you won't just forget and then what if the dome light was turned on by you and waits to be turned off by you ALL NIGHT LONG, and in the meantime your battery dies in your car and you don't realize until you've got all your stuff back in your car the next morning, running late to work??? Just my thoughts...Hmmm...

Topic: Emotion Emotion
Okay, so I find myself writing up an email to my friend, and here's how it reads so far:
I'm really sorry I haven't called or emailed lately, things have just been crazy, there's so much to do with the "holidays" and so much I've wanted to get done, and amongst it all I've just been feeling really down lately. You know how I do sometimes, I guess it's just that time again. It's just really frustrating too because I wonder why anyone even would want to be around me if they knew who I REALLY was, you know, (like the bawling my eyes out person who freaks at the slightest weird thing sometimes type of thing) and I just don't know what to do sometimes.
Looking back on this and reading it to myself, it makes sense to me, and I'm sure that it will to her once I send it, but it just makes me wonder. Do other people feel this way? I'm not talking the holidays being the reason for my feeling down, this just happens from time to time. The length of time, well, it varies. I've overall been feeling it this time for a little over a week now. Yeah, last week I blamed it on PMS issues, but what do I have this week? *my* issues? Guess so. Maybe that's what it is all along.

Don't Ask Me How
Mood:
energetic
Topic: Website Building...
Okay so I'm so excited because I finally figured out how to change my main webpage on here so that it doesn't say "Happy Belated Birthday" to one of my dear friends, Jan. Not to say I don't wish her a Happy day anymore, but Hello her birthday was October 13th, and that is well over a month ago now. Even though, yes, technically I did put it up on my site as a belated birthday wish for her, I put it up probably like a week after her birthday, so I think it's been up for enough time. I had attempted to figure out how to get the main webpage changed, but couldn't. Finally tonight while playing around, I saw that I had the opportunity to "unpublish" a page, so whaddya know, that light bulb lit up over my head like a floodlight. Kudos to me, I'm so happy I figured it out. Just don't ask me how.

Okay, so the other day when I'm at Osco Drugstore perusing the Clearance aisle, I come upon a cardboard box of Audio Books...Hmmm...interesting...I see a couple that sound interesting, and at a mere $2 each, I get them. When the pharmacist rings me up, he comments on one of the books saying he's heard about it and that George Clooney starred in the movie made about the book. He smiles and kinda shakes his head as he looks down at it - - Confessions of a Dangerous Mind by Chuck Barris. I admit that when I first picked it up, I didn't think it was going to be what it turned out to be. But already, I'm on the 2nd of the 3 cassette tapes (listening to it on my way to and from work every day) and I have to say I'm hooked on it. Gotta tell ya more about it later, getting ready to leave to run errands, so catch ya later!

What is it about Chocolate & Cheese???
Mood:
hungry
Now Playing: "Crazy Little Thing called Love" by Dwight Yoakam
Okay, so I just split a pizza and had a few bites of leftover mac & cheese...I still feel hungry. Don't worry I won't be eating again tonight, cuz it's already like 9:45 - - but if there were anything that was CHOCOLATE or CHEESY, I would be all over it about now.
So what is it with chocolate and cheese? I'm in no way implying a mixture of chocolate and cheese, I mean just the thought of chocolate-flavored cheese makes me feel a rumbly in the tumbly, blech!
No I'm talking CRAVINGS...where you just don't even have to be necessarily hungry, but if you happen to catch a scent like cheesy garlic bread, or chocolate brownies in the oven - - you just go all crazy and WANT TO EAT IT SO BAD!!

Just Bloggin' Along...
Mood:
surprised
Now Playing: Trains=Dogs Howling
Okay so the surprise is that I figured out this blogging thing...Sweet!
To better explain "Now Playing" - it's not a new and hip song to listen for on your local radio station - instead, I get to listen to the ever-so-soothing sounds of the train passing through our little town, followed by the howling of the dogs down the street. Oh, what a night! :-)
Just a thought - - is it just me, or is the world just not right if those of us who chose to be childfree have to explain over and over again WHY we choose this...when those people who just have children...DON'T?
Just a thought.
